A Little Festive Teaser… With Graham’s Port!

It is now festive season. And I am moving house… 😩
BUT whatever Christmas chaos you have going on, you can still have holiday fun AND host with the most thanks to…
GRAHAM’S PORT! 🇵🇹
Why should Port – something so delicious and versatile – be reserved for the end of the evening? 🎉🎉🎉
AND as someone who loves to host but hates the faff – I am all about minimal input and maximum output. These fortified beauties are the perfect solution. 🥳
Watch video for all the tips but in a festive nutshell :
🍫🥮🍪🍷Graham’s Six Grapes Ruby Reserve, available from £14 online :
If you need to keep morale high and turn moving chaos into a party – bring out Graham’s Six Grapes.
Packed with mulled plum fruit and licorice spice – it goes amazingly with store bought mince pies or dark chocolate desserts. And I can’t believe it is under £20 considering it is a baby vintage port – but ready to drink now!
🧀🥓🫒🍷Graham’s 10 year old Tawny, £24 @waitrose :
Similarly, if you have no oven, plates, cutlery – Grahams 10 year old Tawny will do the heavy lifting for you.
This Port has been aged for around 10 years in seasoned barrels, and due to this oxidative aging, you get that lovely tawny brick colour accompanied with more nutty and caramel notes. It is less about fresh dark fruit and more about the dried plums, salted almonds and baking spice. 🌰🌰🥜🥜
If you need to host in a jiffy, this is the best companion for grazing boards of charcuterie, cheese, olives and crisps. The salt, fat and umami lock in beautifully with the tawny’s nuttiness and gentle spicy warmth
‼️‼️‼️They are also both low maintenance:
Both Ports can be served from a white wine glass not only Port glasses – don’t freak out on glassware!
💪💪💪 And have great durability:
Both can be kept in the fridge for 8 weeks which means you can host in style and enjoy the leftovers for future guests
or
simply save for the days you stay in and just want to relax with a glass of something delicious and a great book…. 😮💨Sigh…. I wish…
Whether you are moving house or have other life curveballs this Christmas, pour a little port and make it festive or at least delicious.. 🍷
