My 15 South African Wine Highlights UNDER £30

If you have been following my stories, you would know that I was lucky to experience a magical two weeks in Capetown and the nearby wine region of Franschhoek.

It is soooo hard to pick my vinous highlights as I tasted so many incredible bottles. I deliberately chose wines from lesser known winemakers/ regions for UK drinkers, most of which were new to me and also which offered a wide range of styles to appreciate. I still believe that South African wine is some of the best value wine in the UK – alongside Chile and Eastern Europe. I am just disappointed that I don’t seem to have had any Pinotage during this 2 week wine whirlwind – I guess I will just have to go back!
