The best Christmas wine the high street has to offer in 2021

Indian Food & Cabernet

Last week I collaborated with the wonderful fashion and media platform @sheerluxe, with some last minute suggestions of the best Christmas wine the high street has to offer. Small confession, I was sent the wrong Rioja! It was meant to be the Reserva! Please see below for exact wine details.

We covered Bubbles, Reds and Whites in a range of styles, from around the world and all within a savvy budget.

So if you are in need for some celebratory vinous inspiration then click the pic.

In regards to the bubbles, I think the Cremant is a steal and that the UK sparkling from 2010 (!) might be one of the most exciting sparkling wines I have tasted all year. It is soo difficult to get hold of English sparkling wine from that many vintages ago!

For wines, the first white and red listed are more your drinks party/ quaffable wine options.

The second white and red are more for classic tastes whilst the third wine in each section is the more ‘cuddly’ companion. The video is available here (at 11:20 mins) and of course includes all the usual animated Ameliaisms!
