Bar Rioja Festival

Come taste the full story with me, next Saturday, at the Bar Rioja festival!

On the 4th July, @bar.rioja is transplanting the famous Rioja wine festival to their gorgeous King’s Cross courtyard.

There will be 16 wines to taste plus paella, Iberica jamon, free raffles, live DJ and much more.

In this vid, I have chosen three awesome wines from the tasting which you would NOT think came from Rioja.

They are:

A 🥂:
Conde de Haro Brut  by @bodegasmuga is a super stylish Cava which consistently scores in the 90s by wine critics. Once you have tasted it – you will see why!

Summer White:
Jarrate Blanco from Abel Mendoza is a super delicious, unoaked 5 white grape blend which even includes Torrontes – the fruity aromatic grape usually associated with Argentina! 93 points by Decanter.

BBQ Rosé:
Karman Rioja Clarete – the supersonic label expresses the exuberance and fun of this berry bursting Rosé. It will be perfect with the paella and Iberica jamon being served on the day.
